Menu icon becoming white wide edge on mobile landscape viewing

Hi there,

On Google browser when switching from vertical to landscape mobile view, the menu bar becomes a white edge border blocking the banner image. When switching back to vertical, the white edge border remain the same. On Safari the white edge board block the whole banner image when switching back to vertical. Appreciate if anyone could help with this issue.
