customizing the slideshow in Bedford 7.0 template adding an arrow to scroll page upwards

hello sir,
please I need help in customizing the slideshow on my square space website.
for mobile uses the slideshow almost covers the parent size of the screen, this can prevent users from knowing that there are some web contents below the slideshow.

<b>I will like to add an arrow just like the one on the left and right of the banner image that controls the slide show (next and previous control) that will point downwards at the button of the image so when users click on this arrow it will scroll the page upwards so web contents below the banner can be seen.</b>

I am using Bedford 7.0 template,
