Can't change the header color in image caption

Hello I changed the caption's container background color to light grey but I am not being able to change the header color to black.

It's not working,

I tried putting h2 before the color but it's also not changing, I can weirdly change the background color of the header but not the header.

.sqs-block.image-block .image-caption-wrapper h2{
  background-color: black !important;} this worked but not the text itself

Ideally  I want to place the text over the image without using the image caption. Is it possible?
