timemedicine Posted August 23, 2021 Posted August 23, 2021 Hi, My site is not live yet, and this is only day 1 of my dive into Squarespace. I am trying to put round images in sections, but BOTH .jpgs with backgrounds the same hex code color as the site background AND transparent backgrounds of .png files are showing up as squares slightly darker than the site background color. Is there any workaround so that the true site background color will be the only background seen? Thank you!

creedon Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 Many of the images have an overlay which SS puts an opacity on by default. Some of those can be changed in the SS interface. Edit the color theme for the page section the image card is in. Click on the Image Overlay color circle. A pop-up dialog will appear. Drag the bottom circle in the pop up all the way to the left. Notice the little circle in the lower right of the image. That is the one you want to drag to the left. Let us know how it goes. Find my contributions useful?
