Can I include a 'coming soon' track within the store with no buy button.

Hey guys,

I'm hoping I can get some help with an ecomm store I'm working on. I have a recording artist that would like some coming soon tracks in the store. There's no digital file for them yet - but for me to have them in the store it says I need to upload something. So I uploaded a silent track with $0 just so the 'coming soon' tracks are there. I've even got the button clocked so if you click it, you're taken to a form for when you'd like to be notified of its release. Which is GREAT - But with that a black track is added to the shopping cart for $0.00.

Not ideal clearly. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Mike

Instead of adding a Digital Product for the unavailable tracks, have you tried adding a Service Product and setting the inventory to zero?

Squarespace has a product waitlist feature where users can submit their email address on the product details page when the product is unavailable. When it becomes available, you can hide the service product and replace it with the digital product.

Hey Paul, that was exactly what I was after. Thanks so much!

On another note I'm having issues displaying the 'related products' does that only appear once out of the trial mode? Apologies for hijacking the thread with another questions. :)
