gbrunks
Site URL: https://bird-sawfish-7s2c.squarespace.com/config/pages With the latest Squarespace site editor we have lost the ability to bulk load (using copy and paste) the values for a SELECT field on a form. I have a few forms that allow the user to select a value from a range of values, sometimes up to 50 different values, and I used to have a text file of values that I would copy and then paste into the select option field. It was easy !! No more now with the latest SP editor, it force you to enter each value, one by one, argh !!! Take look at the -->https://www.phgagolf.com/supplemental-form. the form button Open Supplemental Form. Notice all the select fields. Does anyone have a suggestion how I could load the select fields in another way? Link to comment
gbrunks
Unfortunately there is no option on the screen to switch back to classic editor. I tried using a private session to see if that brought the option to the screen, no luck. I don't appear to have the option to return to the classic editor, which as you pointed out, would fix the issue. When I called SP support they did not offer a method to return to the classic editor either. Link to comment
paul2009
Thank you for the screenshot - this helps me to understand the issue. This is a known issue and is due to the Form Block Editor upgrade that happened in February 2021. Many of us have raised this issue (and others) with Squarespace and asked for the features to be restored, but it would be worth adding your voice to these. Squarespace don't routinely monitor this forum for feature requests (see the guidelines - item 6) so I recommend you update your ticket with Customer Care to ensure this is raised. The more they hear from customers who are affected by missing features, the easier it will be for them to prioritise them. Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017.
