Looking for help creating slideshow-esque section with text.

Looking for a way to create a slideshow or gallery with what is essentially the "card" image style. I need 4 images with text next to them that can be clicked through without changing the page. My current workaround was to create images with the text on them in photoshop and then put them in a gallery block however when on mobile the text doesn't scale due to being an image. Anyone have any ideas? A bit frustrated that image blocks can't be easily turned into a gallery.
