Swipe function for gallery on mobile

I wish there was a swipe function added to the gallery module for mobile and tablet touchscreen devices. Anyone else have this issue? I may just have to take the time to write some custom code myself but truly feel this should be built into the squarespace platform. Anyone else with me?

@birchtree did you manage to find a way to do this? I'm trying to do the same and don't want to have to keep buying the plug-in everytime I build a new site so wanted to find a code option. If you did work it out would love to know!
