Mobile Menu Background Stuck on White

I have gone into site styles for mobile and set the background to transparent but it remains white. I've scoured the forums and found a lot of code solutions that should have worked but didn't. When I inspect the page I see the Mobile-bar--top is set to transparent but not reflecting on the site.

I've even tried to change the background to something like red  and it stays white.

I've tried removing all custom code from the website to troubleshoot but that didn't show any fixes either. I'm at a complete loss.

Hi. Don't remove any code in your current code.

Add this to Design > Custom CSS > then save & reload your site

    position: absolute;
}
