put a search bar in header 7.1

Hello ! 

I'm looking for a code injection that can work with 7.1 version of squarespace to put a search bar in the header.

i've tried many different codes injections but none is working. Sometimes i have a search bar appearing but it's behind the logo on the top left of the screen and i don't remember how i arrived to put it a the right of the header but it doesn't makes any research if i type my keywords inside.. Can anyone help me ? :)

There is not any password anymore, we have launched the site. And i've already tried the guide you've linked, and it didn't worked.. Maybe i did something wrong.. !

Add search bar above header or between navigation - button?

I want it above the header :)

Add to Last Line in Code Injection > Footer

As I pointed out here, Squarespace did not add a Search option to the 7.1 header because search does not work correctly on Squarespace 7.1. You can use code to add a search option, but you won't be able to fix the broken internal search engine.

To lobby Squarespace to fix this, you'll need to contact Squarespace Customer Care to log your concern.
