alexwiii Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Site URL: https://www.alexanderwilburn.com/writing Have an index/footer that seems linked now to every page but can't find anyway to edit or get rid of it. Any advice? All connected to this one page — if I unlink the page, it disappears. So I deleted and remade the page — and the footer/index reappeared. Can't find anything in the settings that would explain it and can't find a way to manually delete/edit it. Would love some help!
Chris_SQSP Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Hi Alex, Thanks for reaching out to the community! I'm not sure which content you're referring to when you reference the "Footer" so I'm going to try and address both items I think it could be. As a note, this is a version 7.0 site. 1. The thumbnail image and "Darren Henault" title As you mentioned, you're using an Index Page. When viewing a nested page (a page within your index), you will then see at the bottom of that page a visual list (thumbnail images) for the other nested pages. The intention is that it creates a quick link to more content on your site. If this is what you'd like to remove, click to view any nested page. Then navigate to Design > Site Styles > Index Styles and adjust the Thumbnails on Open Page: Show All to the Hide All option. As a site note, it seems only the Darren Henault nested page currently has a thumbnail image uploaded. To add a thumbnail image for all of your other nested pages, go to the Page Settings > Media. 2. The "Latest," "Film Reviews," and "Interviews" footer content If this is what you're referring to, login to your site and view any of the nested pages within the index. Scroll down and hover over the footer. A black annotation bar for "Writing Footer Content" will display. Click Edit and you can then modify this text. I hope this helps!
