Change font color for Subscribe to light grey

Hello, my subscribe field is completely lost against the black background, is there a fix? 

Also I'd like to upload a new image to the background at the top have been trouble figuring that out, any fixes? The person who originally made the site must have done something permanent with code, no drop down menu to switch out the background that I can see.
