Change Color of Link On Hover on Image Block

Hi there,

Trying to get links on image blocks to change color on hover, but the style rules seem to overwrite any color changes on the Squarespace style editor. Any chance anyone has dealt with this and knows how to make the right tweak? I can change the font style to italic, but color seems to be ignored.
