I am trying to add custom Social Icons to my landing page.

I am trying to add custom social icons that square doesn't currently provide. I was able to find code that effected the footer of my web pages social icons but have not been able to find anything that effects the landing / cover page. Any one have any tricks for this? been trying for a few days now.
