digitalsuperhero
Site URL: https://the80sand90s.com/shop When you click product on your store, adware pops up in the back. Their solution was to block popups in my browser when I contacted Spocket's "help". Moreover, even though I am within the 14 day "trial" period, there is no option to cancel. Link to comment
Guest
Hi @digitalsuperhero! We'd love to help. First, all users should have the option to cancel their subscription during their trial. It can accessed by clicking on Settings in the lower left hand side of your Spocket account and then selecting Billing from the tabs. We're also going to link you to our Help Centre Article that has a step by step instruction on how to cancel your subscription. It has a moving clip attached that shows you where to click and which page to go so it will be easier for our customers to follow. Let us know if that helped! Regarding the adware, we'd like to get a better understanding of what's happening and it would be great if you're able to share a recording with us. At the moment, it does not seem like a Spocket issue as our integration with Squarespace simply allows you to import products to your store meaning this shouldn't affect your customer's checkout/ purchase experience on your site. Can you let us know if this is happening only to Spocket products in particular? Send us an email with your video at support@spocket.co and we'll do our best to assist you. digitalsuperhero
I dug in and ended up finding a solution. We should talk about it as it may help others. I think what really enraged me was the support solution was “ turn on you browser’s pop up blocker”. If you don’t have a proper solution yet, ask for time rather than a bandaid that looks sketchy.
