How to style active links in the menu - single page website.

Hello,

I have a single page website, with links on the menu which scroll the page down to the relevant section. I'm trying to figure out how to have the active link either be underlined, or change colour when clicked. I also want the colour change or underline to stay in place after the click, until the next link is clicked - like this website: https://www.asgeirmusic.com/

Any help would be appreciated!
