Items per page

Hi,

I am just wondering if there is a way to have items per page.

So like any online store for example they have a limit of 9 items per page, then a page 2, page 3 etc.

Is there a code to do this or am I missing something? Because I have 40 odd items that are on the page and appear as a scroll down... I would like to clean this up.
