Resize Mobile body text on a full bleed Index Gallery

Hello! I was hoping someone may be able to help me; I've used CSS to resize some image that is overlaid onto a Gallery slideshow. I am using version 7, Brine Template.

The issue is on mobile the body font is displaying as larger than the title font. Is there a workaround to make the body font smaller that someone could help me with?

The code I have used is:

@media screen and (max-width:640px) {
body.homepage article.Index-gallery-item * {
    font-size: 12px;
}
}
