Mix and match gallery styles - possible?

Recommended Posts

My site is here
And I'm actually fine with the Design section, but I want the Illustration image gallery style to have variable heights like this site:
I essentially just want to keep my current site, but I want variable thumbnail sizes like Edward's gallery.  I like how mine functions otherwise, I don't want a side menu or a lightbox or anything.  I just want different thumbnail sizes so my illustration images aren't cut off.
I understand enough CSS to be able to copy and paste but don't know enough to know how to do this.  Any tips?

Edward's gallery look is what is commonly referred to as masonry. The portfolio page does not support masonry layout and it can't be changed with a few lines of CSS.

Have you considered using a Gallery page section? It supports masonry layout and has a lightbox feature for a more detailed view of images.

I don't want to do a lightbox, I want it to go to a separate page so I can have a bit more detail written about each page 😕

I think creedon is talking about gallery section option Masonry
