Unable to add a negative value for box-shadow

Hi!

I'm trying to add two different inset values for a box-shadow on a button (in other words, adding 2 inner shadows). This is the result I'm trying to achieve, and this is the code used for it in CSS:

Adding the first (top) inner shadow works just fine. However, whenever I try to set a negative value on either axis (in this case I'm interested on the Y one–the bottom inner shadow) the styles disappear altogether.

When I paste the same code into the web inspector, the effect is perfectly showing up, but it seems there isn't a way to get it working on Squarespace. Any idea why this might be happening or any workaround?

I checked the inspector and you are settings negative value already?
