KenNaka
Hello, I'm setting a store where the product are classes. Each class with only be able to take 12 participants, but there are two pricing... 1 for full fee paying students 1 for students with concession I can create the variant, but I cannot associate them to the same product quantity... Is there a way I can get around this and only set a quantity amount that is SHARED across two variants...? billhawk92 and 44degreesnorth 2 Link to comment
paul2009
If you are using Squarespace Commerce to create products/services for the classes, the variants will be considered different products. You cannot link them within Squarespace. You can purchase an extension called Trunk Inventory to link them, but it’s very expensive. Another option is to use Squarespace Scheduling to book classes instead. About: SQSP User for 17 yrs. Circle Leader since 2017. I value honesty, transparency, diversity and good design ♥. KenNaka
Hello Paul, Thanks for the reply! Scheduling is not quite the solution. For example, we are running a floral arrangement class. There are a total number of 12 seats available for sale. Students may select "full fee" or "concession". If I create the two variant, I'll have to allocate a availability... which may overlap each other and we do not want to over-sell... I suppose my most straightforward solution is to tell students who are entitled to "consession" to use a discount code on check out. but I'm just hoping to make it easier when they are viewing the products and see the pricing straight away... Vaughan
Hi Ken, I was wondering if you found a solution to the above issue. I'm creating a site for a small Yoga studio and have found I need the same thing, both a full and concession class price to be available for clients paying in advance through scheduling. billhawk92
Hello! I have the same problem as above. Has anyone found a solution to this problem yet? Link to comment
44degreesnorth
Also wondering about this! I have a client who takes a set number of registrations for events and then offers various levels of wine tasting to the exeprience without changing the total number of seats available for the event.
