Changing blog format in Moksha template

I love the Moksha template but it probably has one of the very worst blog formats imaginable. The text will stretch across the width of the entire browser window making it very unfriendly for reading posts.
Which brings me to the question: Is there any way, possibly through coding, to change the formatting of blogs posts in this template to restrict them to a column in the middle of the page regardless of window size? This is like most logical blogs are designed.  This can't be changed from the template's setting.  Or would I have to drop the template altogether and start again with a new one? Which I'll avoid if I can.
