caddyshackproject
Site URL: https://www.caddyshackproject.com/free-resources Our products are free, so therefore do not required a payment set-up. I am ok with having orders continue to come through as 'test' since there is no payment method set up. But I want to remove this 'checkout is closed' header on the store checkout page to avoid customer confusion. Link to comment
Susana_SQSP
Hi @caddyshackproject, If you don't want to charge for products in your store, you might want to consider setting their price to 0.00 or creating a discount. Check out this Squarespace help article for more specifics: Offering a free product Link to comment
caddyshackproject
Thank you @Susana_SQSP, Is there any way/code to remove the 'checkout is closed' banner when all products are free? Link to comment
Susana_SQSP
Hey @caddyshackproject, This is indeed something that might be possible to get removed with code. I personally don't know of any code to get that hidden. Link to comment

The only way to remove this message from the checkout is to add a payment provider to your Squarespace website. There is not a way to remove it from the checkout with code. The payment provider will not be used if products are free, but it will remove the message. About: SQSP User for 17 yrs. Circle Leader since 2017. caddyshackproject
@paul2009 Thank you! We don't have a payment provider so will be unable to do this. I think my best solution is to add a bit of text in the check out saying to ignore that message in the banner. Link to comment
