Footer gradient colour in 7.1.

Hi, I'm trying to give my footer background a gradient colour. I have used the following code:

#footer {
  background: linear-gradient(to right, #42b7d4 , #3490dd , #0664b8 , #02457e)!important;
}

which works on my 7.0. site, but not on 7.1.. Can anyone help me with this?

With 7.1. try this class name
