I'm looking to either use Zapier or Mailchimp to send automatic email replies whenever a customer uses our contact form. Help?

I'm looking for any help with setting up automatic email replies when a customer uses our contact form. I understand Zapier/Mailchimp can help with that? If one of these is free that's great otherwise happy to pay.

Sooooo, looking to automatically send out an email when you get a Squarespace form submission, huh 🙂 You seem to be ok with making this happen through a third-party service, so I thought I'd jump in and suggest checking out Integromat. It's a no-code platform that lets you connect your Squarespace account to almost any other online service and automate all kinds of processes. 

You can check out the  available features (triggers, actions and pre-made templates) of the Squarespace integration here. I see that there's currently no pre-configured module for working with Squarespace forms. There is, however, always the universal 'Make an API call' option that lets you work with anything that's included in Squarespace's API.

Anyway, speaking of  Squarespace-email automation, there's for example this template that sends out customized emails based on the product that the customer ordered.

Just sharing this to give you a bit of an idea of what the possibilities are 🙂

Zapier has a solution entitled Send emails for new Squarespace form submissions that will do what you need.
