How To Reduce Large Gaps Between Text & Images (Slideshows) on Mobile Version Of Portfolio Website

On the mobile version of my portfolio website, specifically where I utilize a slideshow for my images, there is a large block of white space before and after (as shown in the attached images). Does anyone know what the cause of this is, and how to fix it/reduce the padding on these areas for mobile only? I would really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance!
