It seems navigation item text styling not working on my site

I've tried the following:

nav.header-menu-nav-list * {
font-family: apercu !important;
font-size: 20px !important;
text-transform: none !important;
}

.header-nav *, nav.header-menu-nav-list * {
    font-family: yourfont;
}

and it's not working on my site. what'went wrong?
