Shop layout help

Hi 

Could I please ask for some help, we're a new start up and having problems with the design of our webshop , we've used the template , but we're getting a terrible conversion rate ( 1 in 50 adds to the basket) 

My thoughts were to change the layout to a more conventional list , but it seems as if that isn't available as a template 

is there a code I can use ? , we're trying to get closer to the following
