I found a guide to make my webpage multiligual, in English and Swedish.

It should hide the second language navigation links when using one language. For example when on the english page, you see the english titles, and when on the Swedish page, you see the Swedish titles/links. 

However, it seems that:

1. The nav links disappears in the burger menu when looking at the site on your phone.

2. When on the Swedish (svenska) page, the english links/titles are shown. 

The only nice way i found to choose language, is creating a language link in the footer. I tried to create the flags as shown in the guide, but it did not work..

I'm not good at css, and don't know how to fix this. Can someone please help me?

I'm Parker and I work on the Customer Operations team at Squarespace. I came across your question, and I wanted to share an update to the guide you included in your post. We now offer an integration with Weglot! 

With Weglot, you can add a language-switcher button to your site's header that will allow folks to switch the language of the content.
