Breadcrumb Trail for Blog Tags / Categories

Working on a site for a really good cause, to try to help people find local free health resources.

I am trying to find some kind of code insertion that would allow an automatically generated breadcrumb trail to show on the tags listing / categories listing pages within the blog in 7.1.

Right now if you click a certain tag it takes you to a list page of all posts with that tag — but there's nothing orienting the viewer that for instance they're looking at a list of pediatric care providers.

If I try to add a section above the listings section and edit it — it makes the same edit for every tags page — so then it would say "Pediatric" on the top of pages that were actually other tags. So there's no way that I can find to manually do it. 

It seems really similar to how the breadcrumb trail exists within product pages, so I'm hoping it's similar.
