I just don't know how to go about optimising it so that it appears bigger on the site. Hope this makes sense, thanks. Link to comment

Once you have added your site logo, you should be able to specify the size in the Styles panel. Click EDIT then EDIT SITE HEADER then Site Title & Logo as shown below.
