Select multiple images, reorder them and create new galleries

Hi....So..........

So is Squarespace aimed at serving people in the creative industry? - I think it is! - In which case, help me out here if you can;

I have uploaded hundreds of handpicked images, which were all selected from multiple Lightroom galleries and output at a specific format and ordered correctly by date. It took me ages.

Squarespace can see these images and tells me that I have them. I did have them in an older gallery which wasn't quite working so I started to work on a new one. Weirdly, and I can't tell why, you can't duplicate an existing gallery... is this true? Why exactly is this?

Anyway, so I want to select multiple images, re-order them and create a new gallery - except I can't!

If you select a second checkbox in the add photos window then the first checkbox empties. You can only add one photo at a time! - I have over 350 photos in a single gallery!  - SO I'm gonna say 'no thanks to this!' - Is this for real?

Then I want to sort by date. Something pretty much everything in the world can do. If you're a photographer (and I am) - then this is really '101 image sorting class' kinda territory. My fridge can sort images by date!

So to summarise.... unless I'm utterly dense (which has been known to happen) this is a bit of a rant regarding what it appears I just can't do with Squarespace.

• I can't duplicate a gallery
• I can't add multiple images to a gallery that already exist on the site
• I can't sort them in an order I want by criteria 

Guys? - Is this really happening to me?.... I'm in the 21st Century right?
