VWest
Is there a plugin I could install to allow customer to add-on items to an existing product? For example I sell I gift boxes and would like to give customers the option to add on extra items to the box at an additional cost right on the product page. Link to comment

You can offer additional options by using Product Variants, for example to add a box of chocolates to a bouquet of flowers. The only downside is that you won't be able to track inventory this way. There's also a Related Products feature available that can display the "addons" on your product details page based on a category or tag. Another workaround is to create the "addons" as separate products and then use Product Blocks to show add-to-cart buttons for these addons. By default these blocks include a title, image, price and so on, but it is possible to disable everything except the button if you only want to see a stack of buttons. About: SQSP User for 17 yrs. SeonR
The problem with product blocks is the "add-ons" you want to offer with the main product need to also be individually purchasable products in your store. My add-ons are unique to the base product and I don't sell these add-ons as individual products. Like someone can buy a product and add an SD Card for convenience for an extra few $, but I don't sell SD Cards by themselves. It's only as an add-on for the base product. Variants jst don't work for this either as I then have 2 SKUs and non-linked stock levels for each variant. It's a nightmare. Link to comment
