Form field customisation

Hi,

We have a couple of problems with the data we are collected on our form. They are:

1. Customers not selected from the drop down menu
2. Customers enter more or less than the 16 digit code we are required to collect. We would also like to fix this code so the code must start with 9999.

It a quote on demand form right

Your select field can be taken care of by removing the select kit option. By putting it there you've made it a valid option and the form happily sends the information along upon submit.

You could be more specific in your field description that there are multiple kits to choose from. Something like please be sure to select the kit you want, pablo, fida, dahli, rembrant, etc.

Unless bangank36 has something else in mind the only way I know to take care of the other issue in SS is custom code that would do a pre-check of the field. If the number doesn't match the format then it prevents the normal SS submit process from happening. I've tinkered in this area some and it is somewhat involved.

I think input masking and custom validation like jquery validation may help, but only if customers are okay with client-side validation only
