Link a blog post to the home page

I’m working for a non-profit and need to link new blog posts to the home page. I have tried to research this and I’m lost on how to accomplish this. 
 

any tips would be appreciated

Can you be more specific? A simple link or button to your blog page is what you want or do you want actual posts on the home page? And where? First section?
