User input into script

Recommended Posts

Hello I am new to Squarespace and a little bit confused about something.I tried my best to find a solution on the internet but this is my last resort.I want to make 2 boxes where you can type in that dictate a value in another script (preferably in a different selection and or box).

A slider can work to but I want it to be more precise.

Thank you.

In general you could use a code block and put in any HTML needed to create input fields. Then your script could grab those value. Or you can get fancier and attach events to the input fields that trigger a script when the fields are changed. However you want to work it.

The only SS specific thing is the code block which lets you do things SS didn't provide for. The rest if pretty standard web stuff.
