sethhoffman Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Site URL: https://www.shhhowercap.com/shop/the-fetti Hey there, I've been developing with 7.1 for a while now and a client has just asked me to edit their 7.0 site, which was built in developer mode. I have SFTPd and cloned the site but have searched all the files and can't find any of the content I'm looking to change. Can someone help me identify where the "Proudly Made in the USA" section of content would be found? Thanks in advance Seth
whitewolf Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Looks like it's using the product-description.item file to render the page. I'm not seeing anything in the JSON that shows any of that content, so my guess is it's hard coded in there.
sethhoffman Posted May 12, 2021 Author Posted May 12, 2021 Thanks @whitewolf... Where would it be hardcoded then? In one of these files or somewhere else? I was hoping to find a "pages" folder but alas, nope.
whitewolf Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Should be in the product-description.item file based on the page classes.
sethhoffman Posted May 13, 2021 Author Posted May 13, 2021 @whitewolf Strangely that file is empty. I've literally opened each file in this repository and searched for the word Proudly Made and have come up blank... Is there always supposed to be a "Pages" folder? Is it possible I am not seeing all the files? I have admin access on the site...
sethhoffman Posted May 13, 2021 Author Posted May 13, 2021 So I've done some more looking and there appears to be a folder I can't find...I found the attached code in the header injection on the shop page, called "collections". Shop in the navigation is actually just a link menu item. it's called /archhhive and it seems to have directories for each product. I have a feeling this is what I need. If I don't see it as a folder within squarespace, and it's not in the developer directory, where else could this be? Thanks for any help!
sethhoffman Posted May 13, 2021 Author Posted May 13, 2021 I'm just going to tag a few folks who've helped me in the past as well: @paul2009 @creedon @tuanphan Thanks in advance for any help! 🙂
sethhoffman Posted May 13, 2021 Author Posted May 13, 2021 Found the solution - All of the content in there was actually in a disabled gallery page within Squarespace. Thanks folks 🙂
whitewolf Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 Sorry I wasn't able to reply, it's been a busy day. Glad you were able to find it!
