Playback speed 0.5 isn't applying?

Landing page for this website (password is just "algora") has a section background which links to:

I set the playback speed to 0.5 but it doesn't change the speed at all. I note the <div> has the setting:

However the inner iframe does not pass the playback speed through to the vimeo URL

Is this a bug? How can I get it to pass the playback speed parameter of 0.5 through?

Just wanted to clarify that the behavior you're describing is intended as the playback speed tweak is currently only supported for YouTube videos. This info is outlined in this Squarespace help article:

Is there some advanced tweak I can do to the code behind the scenes to pass custom parameters to vimeo to do this instead?

Bumping this thread, I am using a vimeo link for a background vid and the Squarespace support page implies playback speed is now adjustable for vimeo. But it's not adjusting for mine.

Anyone in the know on how to  get a vimeo video link as background to play at half speed?
