adding 7 day free trial on my membership area

You can create your own "free trials" by adding a discount that is limited to the first membership payment. For example, if you are using monthly payments, this would provide a free trial for a month. It's a good idea to label the discount "free one month trial" (or something similar) to avoid ambiguity at the checkout stage. The customer will still be required to provide payment information when they checkout as this allows the regular subscription payments to be taken.  Did this

Is there an update on this from Squarespace? This is why I came here to the forum to find out. Disappointing they don't have a trial option!

I have yet to see this option too. The last comment on this forum I saw from an official SquareSpace rep is that they didn't support this. I know Stripe itself does support this, and I'm even considering using Stripe more directly then relying on the SS Subscription feature.

This is frustrating because I have a "One Week Trial" product, a Monthly subscription product, and there is no way to link to the two.  I know there are some weird rules about reminding customers and such but Stripe has all these features built-in already.
