To change the background of a specific page, you can use Custom CSS.

In your case you can use the following:

#collection-5576cc17e4b0c16ac870e3c9 {
background-color: black;

Thanks for the help, but that didn't work. Don't you need to enter the color value? "Black" doesn't mean much to a computer. 

Also, would it be in the Custom CSS section of the design settings, or in the Advanced section of the specific page content?

Please see < https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css_colors.asp >.

The code posted is most likely meant to be put in Design > Custom CSS. If you want to put it in Page Settings > Advanced > Page Header Code Injection for a page or a code block on the page then wrap it in a style tag.
