You can use the standard keyboard shortcut to add a non-breaking space within a Text Block. On a Mac this is Option+Spacebar. On a Windows computer, I believe it's usually Ctrl+Shift+Spacebar. lwist, lindsayhill, tlanier and 2 others 5 About me: I've been a SQSP User for 18 yrs. lwist
Thanks for your quick reply, Paul. The Option+Spacebar keyboard shortcut for non-breaking space worked like a charm on my Mac. paul2009 and lindsayhill 2 Link to comment
marlomc
Hi Paul, I am also trying to add non break space within a text block, but when I use the keyboard shortcut of option+spacebar, nothing seems to change. Is there another shortcut or way to troubleshoot this? Thank you! Link to comment
DV2
A tip for Windows users. I couldn't get the ctrl + shift + space to work in 7.1. But I did find a trick that works. Hold down alt, enter 255 on the keypad, release alt. It's not the friendliest shortcut, and you need have a keypad, but it works. Link to comment
