Sydneywaves Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Site URL: https://www.sydneywaves.com Hi, I have added a download button and uploaded a pdf to be downloaded but when applied nothing happens when the button is pressed....I can’t figure out what is wrong.
tuanphan Posted April 24, 2021 Posted April 24, 2021 Hi. Have you solved it yet? Can you describe all steps you did? Email me if you have need any help (free, of course.). Answer within 24 hours. Or send to forum message Contact Customer Care - Learn CSS - Buy me a coffee (thank you!)
GregLassale Posted April 24, 2021 Posted April 24, 2021 Hi - can't help with the code but thought I'd mention that "résumé" uses acute accents ( "é" ). Just in case that wasn't a stylistic choice. 🙂
creedon Posted April 25, 2021 Posted April 25, 2021 Which button is supposed to download the PDF? Find my contributions useful? Please like, upvote, mark my answer as the best ( solution ), and see my profile. Thanks for your support! I am a Squarespace ( and other technological things ) consultant open for new projects.
Aru Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 I might be late but I found a solution. You just have to 'click/choose/checkmark' on the file that you've uploaded. So if you want to create a "Download my Résumé" button, here are the steps: - Add a 'Button' block. Design it as you want. - Click on the button's 'Edit' option, then choose the 'Settings' icon on the right of the 'Link'. - Go to 'Files' and upload your file. - Now click on the uploaded file and a check mark will appear on its left. - Save. (You can also choose to open it in a new window) You're done 🙂
