VibrantlyLivingSara
Site URL: https://www.vibrantlylivingsara.com/shop Hi... I started creating my shop last night and all items are all appearing on my main page. I wondered if I could have then divided into categories on the main page with the different options in a bar on top to chose from and then people can click on each category and see those items within the category. I don't want them to have to endlessly scroll through all the items I am adding to my shop. Many thanks, Sara Link to comment

As you're using a 'Brine' family template, you can do this by displaying the 'Sort + Filter' element. Whilst viewing your products page, go to Design > Site Styles and then choose a Display option: About: SQSP User for 17 yrs. Circle Leader since 2017. VibrantlyLivingSara
@paul2009thanks for this ! That's amazing. I can now see it... Do you know by any chance how you can change the order of the categories ? I currently have them : All - Oil Blends - Single Oils - Starter Kits - Wellness But I would want them to be : All - Starter Kits - Single Oils - Oil Blends - Wellness ? Thanks so much for your help ! Sara Link to comment
paul2009
The category list usually appears in alphabetical order because this is predictable; it is what the user will expect and it's very effective because it's the optimal order for users to scan quickly. On Squarespace 7.0 there isn't a feature that allows you to reorder them (there's a feature on 7.1) but if you're feeling adventurous you can do it with some code. Here's a link to another thread that should help you: VibrantlyLivingSara 1 About: SQSP User for 17 yrs. Circle Leader since 2017. I value honesty, transparency, diversity and good design ♥.
