Moving the navigation bar

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Another person new to this. I'm using 7.1 and the navigation bar on my site is currently in the header. I'd like to move my site navigation to the left hand side of the page, how can I do this?

Thanks

I am struggling with this also, could anyone help with this please?

You're using an old Squarespace 7.0 template called Flatiron, so you'll want to add the following to Design > Custom CSS:

#navigator header#topBar ul#nav {
  float: right;
}

LEGEND!! Thank you kindly!

Could you possibly show me how to add socials to the header also as they're only showing in footer?

Also, is it possible to shorten the space between the navigation and the content of the website?

As pictured*

I understand a spacer is used to create the opposite effect ( a larger gap). However is it possible to bring the content closer to the top of page and navigation. Soo much dead space in-between.

If that's too much to ask, no worries at all 🙂
