Black bar at bottom + browser dimension problem

Hey,
I am trying to create a simple landing page for my website. I have used custom code to remove the footer, but this wierd black section keeps appearing at different browser dimensions.

Ideally I want the description copy to always be anchored to the bottom left in any browser dimension. Without any black section or any extra padding below.

Please help!
