Gallery text overlay shows up left centered

Hi, I have a client site where I have used custom CSS to create a gallery overlay with text. When I look at the site homepage on a mobile device the pop up text over the images with a longer name only shows up as left justified,
I don't know how to get this centered like all the other text? See picture attached.

tried to fix it using custom css in Design->Custom CSS

.gallery-caption-content {
  text-align: center;
}
