Feedback on flow of photography presentation.

Hi, I am just putting the finishing touches on my photography site.  I am mainly looking for comments on the presentation and flow of the work.  I am trying show consistency in the content without being too redundant.  This is for both the portfolio and the projects.

Design tips are also welcome. I am trying to figure out how to make the lightbox in the projects folders be non transparent if anyone knows what code to use?

Thanks in advanced.  Hope you enjoy looking at the work!

Nicely laid out site, good flow, like walls in an art gallery. Maybe a bit of an enhancement would make the site pop a bit more?  Make certain images stand out?  Try using a drop shadow just to see what it does, you may like the result, if not just remove the code.

past this into custom css:

.image-block {
  filter: drop-shadow(8px 8px 8px #666666);
}

Thanks for the suggestion.  I will try the drop shadow.  What I have been wanting to try is to get rid of the transparency on the lightbox within the projects folders so that the images will pop a little more and to get rid of the distracting detail of the background thumbnails.  Do you know the code to do this?

That code did not add a drop shadow to the projects lightbox but it caused the Portfolio lightbox to go transparent again, although it was darker.  I reverted back to remove the transparency.  How can I make the fallowing code to remove the transparency apply to the projects lightbox not just the portfolio?  Thanks

/* Lightbox opacity */
.gallery-lightbox-background {
    opacity: 1.0;
}

I'm pleased that your site has a category of photos. Have you thought about taking pictures of people? You still don't have that category, but I think you should. I love taking pictures, but it's a hobby for me. I use a Panasonic Lumix G7, and I'm happy with its performance. Moreover, I recently bought a new lens after reading the information here lensespro.org.There are many lenses to suit different photography styles. I think a good photographer should have multiple lenses.
