Extending masonry grid to top of screen (with transparent header)

Hi!

I'm new to 7.1 and have spent the last 2 days trying to work out how to customise the masonry grid so that it extends up to the top of the screen. My plan is then to have a transparent floating header which follows as you move down the page. I've looked all over and tried my hand at codes but to no avail! Does anyone have any suggestions?

Why dont you place the masonry grid section at first section? It then can be extend to top of the page

Hi! It currently is in the first section, but I'm not able to extend it to the top!
