Add words over images 7.1?

How do I add a large word  S A L E  centered on top of the images on my home page?..

Hi. Can you disable autoplay? We can check easier

I guess you can edit Slideshow >> Add a caption?

Thanks. I prefer to have autoplay over having the word. I could always add the word to the pic and reimport. Just wondered if there was a way of adding it separately. I've added the caption SALE if that helps?

Can you disable autoplay? We can't check with autoplay
