Embed Membership form directly on-page?

We're improving our member sign-up UX and looking to see if there's a way to directly embed the sign-up form on page?

Currently the member sign-up button links to a modal form. We'd like to embed the form directly on the page instead, that way it's one less click for audience.

I've attached a screenshot of the current experience and a mockup of what I'm looking to do instead.

Sadly it isn't possible to embed it or to style it. Squarespace appear to have done this deliberately to keep it secure.

I've documented this here as one of the limitations of Member Areas that are currently preventing us from using it widely.

"Styles are fixed. The login window, signup window, access-denied page and account panel are styled to match Squarespace branding. They cannot be customised to match the client's branding. This is a big deal breaker for many organisations."
